Each year we support a paid summer internship program. The intern learns hands-on all about horticulture by working in the garden, meeting local experts, and making presentations. They also earn credits from their university. The Teaching Garden gets an enthusiastic learner for the busy summer months. This is truly a win-win situation.

We fund this program by selling bricks that are installed in areas of the Teaching Garden walk. Bricks cost $100 and 75%, all but the cost of the stone, goes to the intern program. Purchase a brick as a wedding present, a Christmas gift, to honor your parents, a child, yourself! Ideas are endless.
